In 2005 the lure of the Sunshine Coast proved too tempting and he transferred to the WIN office in Maroochydore where he worked for a further two years. In 2007, 7 Queensland recruited Adam, where he worked for 10 years on various projects including TV commercials, TV content, corporate videos, live broadcasts, online content production and much more. Rob has had a broad and colourful career; working in everything from media to retail. Initially he started as a camera man and editor with GWN television in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia in 1992. In 1994 he was recruited by BPK a Hong Kong based media organisation, where he worked as a commercial producer in Vladivostok, Russia, then in Seoul, South Korea. Whilst his job took him to the far ends of the earth, in 1998 at age 28 he pioneered his own television production company, Dragonfly Media, in his home state of Western Australia. Rob quickly built a very impressive clientele, producing television commercials for local and national clients, as well as providing content for every Australian network including ABC, 7,9,10, SBS, as well as international broadcasters such as the BBC, NBC, CBS and more.
His company won several creative awards including a gold medal at the Boston Seafood Festival for his documentary about the Shark Bay fisheries. Dragonfly Media were also finalist in the 2005 Telstra Small Business of the year.
